Derma Fillers
A derma filler is an injectable solution that provides fullness to lips, enhances cheek volume, smooths out lines and wrinkles, and contours face. Fillers are often comprised of Hyaluronic Acid that works by drawing moisture into the skin's tissues, plumping and easing out wrinkles in the skin. We can help select the best product for you depending on the area needing rejuvenation, severity of the lines/folds, and the desired results. STEP 1. CONSULTATION Prior to treatment, you will have a consultation appointment with our experienced provider. This will allow us to take a full assessment of your skin’s health as well as your medical history to determine whether you are a good candidate for dermal fillers. At this time, the process will be explained and additional options for skin rejuvenation discussed. If you and our provider agree that a dermal filler is right for you, we will create an individualized treatment plan. STEP 2. INJECTION PROCEDURE The procedure will take up to an hour to complete. Our fillers contain Lidocaine, an anesthetic, which keeps discomfort to a minimum. The wrinkle-reducing filler is injected through a small needle. Patients should expect some swelling, redness, and possible bruising post dermal filler injections and take it easy for the rest of the day (no exercising or laying on treatment site). Depending on the area requiring treatment, we may numb you prior to injections for extra comfort. STEP 3. RESULTS The benefits of these filler injections can be seen immediately. Lines and folds are smoothed out, the skin is lifted, and a healthy volume is restored. Any residual swelling, bruising, or redness will resolve within one to two weeks and the HA will also encourage the body’s natural production of collagen, giving the face further benefits. The results can last from six to twelve months depending on the treatment area and the extent of correction. After this time, a repeat treatment is recommended to maintain the results.
Dysport / Botox®

Laugh lines, smile lines, frown lines and crow’s feet - call them what you will, these fine lines and wrinkles are caused by repetitive facial muscle movements. Smoking, sun damage, and genetics further contribute to these early signs of aging and over time, these lines become deep creases and wrinkles, which can make you appear unhappy, angry, and years older. One of the most popular and effective treatments to effectively smooth and soften fine lines and wrinkles is Dysport or BOTOX®. Dysport or BOTOX® works by temporarily relaxing facial muscles and easing the muscle tension that causes fine lines and wrinkles. Treatments can be performed in under 30 minutes and you can return to work, however, no lying down or lifting for four hours post procedure, and refrain from exercising for the rest of the day. You may resume your normal activity the next day and can expect the full effect of the treatment between 7 and 14 days. STEP 1. CONSULTATION Prior to the procedure, you will have a one-on-one consultation with our experienced injector. During this appointment, we will examine your skin, review your medical history, and discuss any current medications. We will then explain the Dysport/BOTOX® procedure, and what you can expect. To help prevent bruising from the injections, it is recommended to avoid all blood thinning medications and supplements for two weeks prior to injections. These include ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aspirin, Alleve, vitamin E, fish oil, and multi-vitamins. Believe it or not, coffee and alcohol are also blood thinning agents and should be avoided the day of and night before the treatment. Since bruising is always possible, plan injections at least 2 weeks prior to an event. Breastfeeding and pregnancy, neuromuscular and neurological disorders are contraindicated for Dysport/BOTOX®. STEP 2. TREATMENT PLAN If we agree that you are a good candidate for Dysport/BOTOX®, we will create a unique treatment plan, and schedule your treatment. Sometimes we are able to accommodate both in the same appointment. STEP 3. INJECTION Once a plan has been determined, our experienced injector uses a very fine needle to inject the Dysport/BOTOX® to the targeted facial muscles. Most patients compare the sensation to a pinprick. If you are particularly sensitive, we have a vibratory device that you may place on the untreated portion of the face for distraction. On average, the effects of most Dysport/BOTOX® treatments begins one to two weeks after injections and lasts between two and four months. Consistent treatments are recommended because it prevents lines from becoming etched into the skin and deepening. Most patients report little to no after effects aside from minimal redness, headache, or bruising, which resolve quickly.
